New year, new repertoire
It's been a busy couple of days in Tomfoolery Towers, as Yours Truly has been working through the original band folders to find new repertoire for the year ahead.
The original band-folders, brittle with age yet bursting with potential, have been yielding a new batch of classic swing pieces for us to include this year, and working delicately through the original parts has been fascinating, browsing sheet music from as far back as 1929 through the 30s, 40s and 50s to find new pieces to play.
We're not going to give too much away about what's in store; suffice to say there are plenty of firm favourites, including Hollywood medleys and dance tunes to get your feet moving. All new Tomfoolery repertoire coming your way...
