We're delighted to say that the ancillary exhibition of illustrations by Sir John Tenniel from the original publication of Alice in Wonderland in 1865 is now open in the Colyer-Fergusson Gallery.
The display, which lasts until Friday 28 February, features some of the characterful, quirky images created for the novel's first appearance; the same illustrations will also be featured as part of the production, when they are projected above the heads of the performers, evoking the atmosphere of the original pages of the book.
The exhibition is open during normal working hours, including weekends, admission is free and there is disabled access. The information boards give the context to the display as we look ahead to the production next month. Come and take a stroll through some of the pages of Carroll's classic tale next time you visit Colyer-Fergusson...
